At only one hour from Cusco by the paved road is located the Urubamba valley or Sacred Valley of the Incas this is one of the most spectacular and beautiful scenery with nice small andean towns, impressive Inca terraces, some very important arqueological sites impressive snow mountain chains as the cordillera del Vilcanota. Nowadays the Sacred Valley is very important because it has the biggest corn in the world. This tour lent us to appreciate the uses and daily life of locals.
The Inca constructions of Pisaq are admired because of the huge platforms that surround the mountain were the remains are located, all of the structures are made in polish rock, perfectly join, all of them are surrounded by lookout points or atalayas.
Ollantaytambo is one of the most spectacular archeological remains of Peru, for its multiplicity of archeological and the singularity of each one of them, they still haven’t come to a conclusion in the techniques that were used for the construction of the enormous walls made out of rock. Each rock is elaborated in an independent form in relation to all the other rocks, angles and different volumes.
The Chinchero market is one the most important in the region because of the great quality of the crafts they sale here. The qualities of these products are well known international for its excellence and beauty.
In this market we can see the “trueque” a form of exchange of products that is still in practice, here the woman still practice the form of weaving made all of llama for the sun's sons in the Imperial Cusco.
